Unable to run/debug Sktech - Getting Runtime Exception RRS feed

  • Question

  • I create new project for IoT and try to run it on my Galileo GEN 2,

    I installed the latest Addon to VS2013 and using the GEN2 SD Image
    now I'm able to debug it, but I'm getting exception on EnableI2C
    My output:
    First-chance exception at 0x76C90F63 in HelloIoT.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: _arduino_fatal_error at memory location 0x009CF118.

    Sketch Aborted! A fatal error has occurred:

    The program '[1608] HelloIoT.exe' has exited with code 0 (0x0).

    the Callstack of the exception is:

    > HelloIoT.exe!TwoWire::EnableI2C(bool enable=false) Line 299 C++
    HelloIoT.exe!TwoWire::~TwoWire() Line 53 C++

    in EnableI2C() hr == HRESULT_FROM_WIN32(ERROR_OPEN_FAILED) : The system cannot open the device or file specified.

         HRESULT hr = GpioSetDir(GPORT1_BIT5, 1);
            if (FAILED(hr))
            {
                ThrowError("Failed to configure I2C_CONTROLLER mux");
            }

    Any idea what to do ?

Answers

  • problem solved...

    it seem like I needed to uninstall the prev MSI and install new GEN2 msi...

    if you just install the msi it does not... need to uninstall first...

    then when creating a new project need to select GEN2.
