how to prevent WinJS.UI.Menu from disapear after clicking item?

    Question

  • OK, this can be silly question.

How can I prevent menu from disapear after clicking menu item? My menu is containing some MenuCommands, all of these are type = toggle and I want to let user choose all of it once rather than "click to show menu and click again to toggle command".

The picture below is my menu right now. You can see it's nonsense to hide the menu everytime after toggle the item.

Thanks in advanced and sorry for my bad English.

  • Hi Panupong,

Have you tried to use Menu.show() method while menu is hiding(onafterhide or onbeforehide could be the correct events)? It seems there is existing Property for you to keep the menu always display.
