How to record the Mouse Click (based on Control/Object) for Visual Studio Coded UI Tests RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am pretty new to use VS Coded UI tests. Unfortunately, I feel it is hard to use it.

I tried to use Coded UI to record the action for the App - Notepad.exe in Win10. The action is simple enough about just clicking Help--> About. But it seem it is not able to record the mouse click action, but show error: "Last mouse Action was not recorded".

Is there any template or example for my reference?

  • Hi,

Can you update your win 10 with insider updates and try again?

See this thread for more details.

For example - see answer in this post

  • I already open Windows Insider Program and check for update but still in the old version.

Do you have any other way to try?
