       Can we Change the projects as Version 4.6 for Visual studio ; will this support for dependency dll of Interop.Word and Interop.Excel

    My Project Details ::

    Dlls : 

          1. Interop.Word - Version= 8.2.0.0

          2. Interop.Excel - Version= 1.4.0.0

    .Net Framework version = 2.0

    Want to change the Version for Project ::      

    Dlls : 

          1. Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word - Version=15.0.4797.100

          2. Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel - Version= 15.0.4795.100

    .Net Framework version = latest version (4.6.1)

    Wheather my existing code will work by changing the versions of dlls and version of framework of .net?

  • Hello Hiran Reddi,

    It seems the previous dlls and the dlls you want to change are all office 2013 dll, right? So in my opinion, existing code related to the dll will still work.

    Anyway, Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth. I would suggest you back up your project and then do a test.
