Update on NDC codes RRS feed

  • Question

  • Trying to import CCR which contains a Medication, below is the xml snipped...HV never sees this as a CCR, rather just a file.  When I remove this medications section from the file, it import properly...I know this forum is not to debug xml, but I believe there is some issue with using our own coding, as opposed to one already supported by HV?

  • Hi Albert,

    PatientInstructions element has invalid content in it and you have to use <Instruction></Instruction> element. Please find the HealthVault CCR Input mappings from here, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/healthvault/ee663895.aspx. The following changes will work.

     <PatientInstructions>

    Text>Take 50 milligram(s) by mouth daily in the morning.</Text>

     </

    Instruction>

  • @ Gong- Yes, you are correct that the CCR import is independent on vocabulary and the above issue is not because of the NDC codes used but due to the incorrect HealthVault CCR Input mapping for PatientInstructions and it should include <Instruction></Instruction> element. HealthVault CCR Input mapping document can find from there, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/healthvault/ee663895.aspx

  • I think CCR importation is independent from the vocabulary in HealthVault system.
