Certification of Store App: requirement numbers do not match the referred descriptions RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi certification team,

During the last certification process of our Store app, we received an answer back, telling us that our app does not meet requirements 10.1.8, 10.1.11 and 10.4.2. After each of these messages a link "learn more" is provided. These links all lead to the requirements definition documentation. Unfortunately, these requirement numbers are not listed.

This is the page that all the "learn more" links refer to: http://msdn.microsoft.com/nl-NL/library/windows/apps/hh694083.aspx

The requirement with the highest number is requirement number 7.2.

How do we find out what the numbers mean that we get back in the report of failed requirements?

    Best regards,

  • You need to follow the link to the current document.

10.1 seems to have been further converged; I don't see a 10.1.8 or 10.1.11.  But the whole section is pretty short, and it all about value to the customer

    10.4.2 is for graceful shutdown.

  • Hi Sunriseprogrammer,

Thanks for these answers and the link to the right spot.

Apart from this an no offence: this is not really solving the cause, but fighting the symptoms. If the links in the certification reports are wrong, then I would have to get back to you in future situations, right?

So if you are in a position where youcan influence that: please do that as well. Your help is much appreciated!
