Sharepoint Designer 2013 Workflow 'Copy List Item' workaround?

Hello,

Does anyone have a solution for a 'Copy List Item'?  I am using SharePoint Designer 2013 to create a workflow to get information from one list item and populate it to another list item.  I am not able to use .net code and do not want to deploy a solution to Sharepoint.  If you have a answer to this problem it would be great if you could share this information.

Hi,

"Copy List Item" action exists in SharePoint Designer 2010, SharePoint Designer 2013 include 2013 and 2010 platform. You can create a workflow with 2010 platform.

Hi,

We are facing similar issue, where we want to use existing copylist item workflow from SP2010 to SharePoint 2013 after upgrade, however in my case copylist item workflow is copying calendar entries from one Sharepoint calendar to another sharePoint calendar after some updates. Will this behavior be available in 2013?

I read on other blogs that  documents and list data copylistitem workflows will work and are supported in Sp2013. But  Calendar entry copying using copylist item workflow is not possible and not available in SharePoint 2013. Please suggest if this is true and  if yes, what are the alternate solutions available to achieve this functionality.

I'm using the Copy List Item, but it seems like it only runs with my account since I created the Workflow.  How can have the workflow run for whoever edits the list item?
