Changing the default LDAP ports... RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am currently developing an application that has to connect to the LDAP server for authentication. The code is actually ready and works with the default LDAP ports (636 and 389). Now I need to ensure that my code works if LDAP is configured to listen at user defined ports.

So, can someone help me configuring/changing  the LDAP ports in Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2000? It would be great to know the way to change the global catalog ports too...
