redirections.xml - exclude folders with wildcards? Exclude files RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is it possible to use wildcards in the redirecions.xml file?

If I want to exclude some subfolders from a unkown folder e.g. \appdata\roaming\google\Chrome\UserData\*\Cache
where * can be any folder (Chrome creates a random folder if you use profiles in Chrome)

Secondly, is it possible to exclude certain files in stead of complete directories. e.g. our appdata\local\microsoft\office folders are filling up with OTeleData*.etl files for some users.

    Thanks a lot

  • I have been researching some of the same stuff and it doesn't seem like fslogix supports wildcards or files. I cannot find any reference to that. I may test but it doesn't seem worth testing.

As for your chrome question, maybe try using chrome for business? For us it's always \Chrome\UserData\Default. I am starting to miss Citrix UPM after being with fslogix for 8 months.
