Windows 7 Error Recovery RRS feed

  • Question

  • Due to power outage, computer will not re-boot...keep getting Windows Error Recovery screen. It won't let me select "Start Windows Normally" and the other choice options will not do anything to correct the problem. I've tried using both a USB keyboard and a standard keyboard but appears the boot hasn't reached far enough for the keyboard to be active. It doesn't see my OS hard drive which is RAID0 on a PCI card. I don't have a recovery disk and it won't let me boot from the installation disk even when I set the BIOS to boot from the DVD drive first. I've also disabled the PCI configuration as a boot source and tried to start from installation disk...doesn't work.  Am I screwed and need to re-format and start over?  I've had the power fail many times on this computer when the OS was XP and never had this issue. I've tried about all the suggestions on the forum and nothing seems to work.  I need help.
