SQL server 2005 database .... need Urgent help RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Can someone please show me where I can find My Table in my SQL server database? I have never used SQL server before and I am now assigned a task to find all the table and its data in one of our sql database machine.

I mean like in PostgreSQL I can use something like pgAdmin III to view all the tables in the DB. Just wondering where / or how can I view something like that in SQL server 2005. At the end of the day, I want to get the data and I don't know how.

    Thanks

  • Do you have SQL Server applications installed on your machine?

SQL Server Management Studio, amongst others, has a graphical list of TABLEs.

    Answerer
  • Right Click Database -> Task - > Export -> Select Source -> Destination, Select Flat File, set properties

Check the Column names in the first data row.
