  • Hello all,

I have been trialing workflow customisations and thought of following this MSDN article which is great: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee767701.aspx and after that I followed this article for installing and testing: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee767699.aspx

I noticed that when the workflow hits the 'Automated Rejection' Stage it is stuck at 'In Progress (Workflow Processing)' but it should be 'Workflow completed' as it is terminated. In the 'How to Create Branching Workflow' article in Step 9 of Procedure 7, it actually states to set the UpdateProjectStageStatusField to None so it should be 'Workflow completed'...right?

I thought since I have created this, I would be doing something wrong so I tested Sample Proposal Workflow out of the box and guess what same issue! It doesn't seem to terminate the workflow, but in additional Workflow Data page it says 'Workflow completed', but I don't want it to be shown in there. I want it to be on the Workflow Status Page in the status section.

Also...see Figure 5. Moving to the Automated Rejection stage in the install and test article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee767699.aspx . It looks like it didn't terminate in the 'How to Create Branching Workflow' example either...

Can anyone please help out me here in trying to terminate the workflow and setting the status to 'Workflow complete' after rejection stage?

     Thank you,

    SJ

  • Any ideas...anyone? Am I doing something wrong here? I have tested this in another environment at a client site using the OOB Sample Workflow and still the same issue. Is it meant to keep processing or should it terminate?

    Thank you.
