I've gotten this error twice and can't make any sense of it. I am trying to upgrade my old .net framework 4.5.2 project to 4.7.2 and this error has stopped me both times. The first time I created a web application using the default templates in Visual Studio 2019 and copied my old files over. It never ran. Then I created another one and it was looking good until I suddenly get this error:

Keep in mind that CopBlaster is the name of the project.

    <%@ Application Codebehind="Global.asax.cs" Inherits="CopBlaster.Global" Language="C#" %>

    Hi CopBlaster,

I've gotten this error twice and can't make any sense of it.

What is "this error" or the complete error message?

    <%@ Application Codebehind="Global.asax.cs" Inherits="CopBlaster.Global" Language="C#" %>

This code is formatted correctly, i suggest you can check the codebehind(Global.asax.cs) if the namaspace is the name of your project which should be CopBlaster.

Or please provide complete error message and the code behind of Global.asax.

    Best Regard,

    Yang Shen
