How to develop a signature application on mobile using .Net Form Device Application? RRS feed

  • Hi all, I am working on a Windows device application where i want to create a signature functionality. Now i got the code to create a signature but i want to create a image file of that signature and want to save that at particular location on my mobile device. By this later on i want to upload that image file through web. How can i achieve this thing. I need this as soon as possible,

    Please take a look at the following MSDN tutorial:

    This sample discusses the Pocket PC Signature sample application. The sample includes a client that runs on the Pocket PC that sends signature data over TCP sockets to a server that is running on the desktop.

  • Hi,

    In that tutorial, it save the signature as stream, Bitmap class have a contructure to instance a image with stream, see MSDN document:

    Bitmap class also have a method named "Save", which can save bitmap object in a image file, see this:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ktx83wah.aspx

  • Thanks for your reply but i need to create an Image of that signature so that i want to upload that image on web. I dont want to send the signature socket data to some server. My requirement is different. Can you help me for that.
