Availability of bullet styles RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are working with SQL Server Reporting Services to format system generated letters.  When we type this letter as a Word doc we use the typical black dot.  When programming this letter for use in SQL we are told system limitations do not provide a black dot.  Is this a true limitation of this program?  What would other options be to bullet text?

  • Hi TGuff,

In Reporting Services, we can create a placeholder and insert HTML-formatted text. The supported HTML tags are listed below:

    •Hyperlinks: <A HREF>
    •Fonts: <FONT>
    •Header, style and block elements: <H{n}>, <DIV>, <SPAN>,<P>, <DIV>, <LI>, <HN>
    •Text format: <B>, <I>, <U>, <S>
    •List handling: <OL>, <UL>, <LI>

In your scenario, you can insert <UL> and <LI> tags in placeholder.
