Using the Microsoft Password Provider's LogonPasswordReset registry entry RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I have written a custom credential provider that appears under authentication/Credential Providers in Vista. In the same list I see a registry entry that is 6f45dc1e-5384-457a-bc13-2cd81b0d28ed which I think is the Password Provider registry entry and under this entry is a key that says LogonPasswordReset that points to keymgr.dll. Now in my custom credential provider for vista if I want to use the password reset functionality how would I do that? I tried creating  a registry entry called LogonPasswordReset under my credential provider but that doesn't work.

    Thanks
