Cascading Drop Down List? RRS feed

I'm not really sure how to start this one. I think what I need to do is a cascading drop down list, but perhaps there is a better way to do this. I'd appreciate some detailed examples on this:

    • I have a list of computers
      • Each Computer has a Name
        • Each computer has a 4 attributes.  Multiple computers can have the same attribute. Each attribute has a drop down down list. So i need to select criteria from the first list and have a list of all the computers that match that criteria. THEN select a criteria from the second list, and narrow down the computer list again. And do this for all 4 criteria.

The end result is a list of computer names.

Well thank you for the advice. But this project has to be done in ASP. So any help in that direction would be great!
