Redirect to an aspx page from outlook. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I have a requirement where I need to create a outlook2010  plugin which contains a button.  on clicking the button user should be redirected to sharepoint page.

    During redirection i should pass a value to the target page.

    I am done with creation of button and all the other required stuff. but couldn't find a way to redirect to target site.

    Can any one help me with this?

    Thanks & Regards,

    Venugopal.

  • Hi Venugopal,

    What do you mean by “redirected to sharepoint page”? Do you mean open a SharePoint page in web browser?

    If so, you can use the following code to open an URL in Internet Explorer.

            private void button1_Click(object sender, RibbonControlEventArgs e)
            {
                Process.Start("IExplore.exe", "www.bing.com");
            }
