after Access to sql server 2005 migration the query does not return more than 100 records RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I migrated the access 2003 to sql 2005 using SSMA.but post migration my application is returning exactly 100 records after reading from the migrated .mdb file.

But the original file before migration returns all the 500 records in the table.

  • check if migration was successfult by validating total record count in sql. it should be 500

If thats correct, check if application has any inbuilt filter on any fields which is causing it to ignore those 400 records.

  • I checked that as well, migration was successful. Is there any limitation on the ssma that allows only 100 records at a time?

moreover I saw something called "max Row count for target" and "max row count for source"  as 100 in the project setting of ssma. Tried to change that to 500 and then migrated again.still it returns only 100 records.
