Restrictions of the privileged apps number

Question
-
We fully support the Windows Store App and Metro applications; however, we
are faced with the following problem: we can give access to our fingerprint
scanners only from one Windows Store application. This problem occurs,
because of restrictions of the privileged apps number, we can specify in the
metadata for our device. This restriction greatly complicates usage of our
fingerprint scanners in the Windows Metro applications. In this situation,
we have to generate a new metadata package, and then reinstall it in the
Windows, and remove the previous cached metadata. This technique is not very
convenient for our customers, and also allows you to install and run at the
same time more than one Widows Store application that works with our
scanners.
Therefore, please give us the ability to add metadata to our device any
number of privileged applications as OEM Developers.Wednesday, April 9, 2014 4:44 PM

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.- Marked as answer by Matt SmallMicrosoft employee, Moderator Tuesday, April 15, 2014 2:43 PM

I would suggest that you open a support case with our driver team for this issue. They may be able find a workaround or provide feedback to our product group about this scenario.

Could you, please, provide the link, where I can open the support case? Or provide an e-mail to send request from our company account?Monday, April 14, 2014 10:52 AM
