Need guidance to create a program that takes an exported file and loads specific information to another workbook RRS feed

    I need a guidance to create a program. If someone can start me off I would appreciate a lot. I only did minimum coding so it might take me sometime to understand. Here is what I got/want:

    I run an export file that has scheduled work on it with hours, dates, names, etc.

    What I would like to do is create a program that takes that file and searches a specific date. Then it grabs that date and loads the row into specific columns. For example if I have dates for Sunday it would take all Sunday work and load it to A5-A20, Monday A25-A40, Tuesday A45-A60.

    If someone could help me with this I would be grateful. Thanks!

    I'm afraid you forget providing information about "an export file", what kind of file (Excel book, text file...), how data are located in that file.
    I hope you will share "an export file" via cloud storage such as OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.
    (Remember modify your vital data before sharing.)
