Why does Windows still not support HFS(+)? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Many Windows users are running Windows on Apple hardware so why the lack of support? The bootcamp drivers don't cut it either with the lack of write support so many hfs users have to resort to 3rd party software. Lack of hfs support has prevented me from getting much use out of the developer preview because I couldn't get to the majority of my files. I know Microsoft already knows how to support the file system as it was supported on Windows 2000 and currently is supported on the Xbox 360. Please for the good of your user base fix this in the future, hopefully with the release of Windows 8.
