    Alter Login ..


    You can Solve this problem By This Query:

    ALTER LOGIN [sa] WITH PASSWORD=N'123', DEFAULT_DATABASE=[master], DEFAULT_LANGUAGE=[us_english], CHECK_EXPIRATION=OFF, CHECK_POLICY=OFF 
    GO  
    ALTER LOGIN [sa] ENABLE 
    this is Work True.

  • It will also happen if the SQL installed with WINDOWS AUTHENTICATION only and when SA is disabled, then changed the authentication to mixed.
    Once you enable the SA need to change default database to MASTER too.

  • Hello, i have this error when trying to check properties of the SA on SQL 2005.  this script doesn't work or rather, it runs but doesn't allow me to login.  this SQL box has been running fine for quite a while and one morning this error shows up.  i cannot get into it.  i can use Windows Auth. to gain access but i cannot reset anything to do with the sa account.

    any other suggestion out there??
