  • Hi,

I'm assuming you are in Visual Studio 2008?  If so, do the following:

From the Project menu click "Add Service Reference" (or right click on the References node in solution explorer and choose the same).  Then click on the "Advanced" button to bring up the "Service Reference Settings" dialog.  From there you can click the "Add Web Reference" button which will bring up the user interface to add a legacy web service.  The web service user interface is kind of hidden how since we've deprecated web services in favor of Windows Communication Foundation Services (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms735119.aspx).

If you are in Visual Studio 2005 or earlier, these instructions will walk you through adding a web reference: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/d9w023sx(VS.80).aspx.

    Sincerely,
