  • Question

  • When I tried to install and setup a downloaded program I keep getting the same message on a  window "Windows Installer", viz: "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation".  What does that mean and how do I change it to allow the installation?

  • You should ask the "System Administrator" what policies they have in force.

Be prepared to explain why your program needs to circumvent these policies because they're generally put in place for a Good Reason (even if you can't see it).
