Trouble setting up GlobalSign EV certificate in Azure AD for driver signing RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm trying to setup driver signing but am running into trouble. During the process you're asked to sign a file with your EV certificaten and upload it again. Signing works file but when I upload the signed file I get the error message: "Your certificate's CA root cert is not in the approved list of root certs"

This looks like an error to me since the certificate is from GlobalSign and GlobalSign is on the approved list.

    Details on our certificate:

    Issued to: Technoltion B.V.

    Issued by: GlobalSign Codesiging CA - SHA256 - G3

    Valid from: 11-4-2019 to 11-4-2022

Details on the GlobalSign certificate are as follows:

Issued to: GlobalSign TST for Advanced - G3 - 003-02

    Issued by: GlobalSign Timestamping CA - SHA256 - G2

    Valid from: 14-6-2018 to 18-3-2029

    Hope you can help.
