Azure Storage Tables - storing Dictionary RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I want to store (besides the system properties: PartitionKey, RowKey and TimeStamp and some single value properties) Dictionary info (key/value pairs) in an Azure Storage Table?

I already searched the web a little bit and found possible solutions:

    - overriding the ReadEntity and WriteEntity methods on classes derived from TableEntity
    - DynamicTableEntitty

What is the recommended way for doing this?

    Thanks?

  • Hi,

I see that overriding and alerting Read Entity and Write Entity methods will be one of the easiest approach as we can also add some additional data in key/value pairs which you don't really need them to be properties on an object.
