In WPA, what is an Input Delay? Where is detailed documentation available on the information reported by WPA? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a WPR recording that I'm trying to analyze in WPA.  The performance issue I'm investigating is being reported by WPA as an "Input Delay."  What exactly does this mean?  Is the application in question not polling for input, or does this mean something else?

Furthermore, is there any documentation available in addition to the somewhat-lacking WPT Technical Reference?  There doesn't seem to be any information there, or anywhere, about what an 'Input Delay' means in the context of WPA (same for COM Call and MsgCheck Delay, though the latter is much more self-explanatory).
