Getting x, y, z coordinates (from console application, convert it to a 'Windows Application') RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am working on getting x/y/z coordinates. I had success following John Elsbree [MSFT] post at the end of this page: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/kinectsdknuiapi/thread/631aff06-cb4c-42ff-84ee-d895c94c5da4

That sample worked as is. Just make the project as 'Console Application' and run it, you get a console window and it displays the coordinates for your left knee movement. So far so good!

What I need to do is instead in a console application, convert it to a 'Windows Application' and display that same info in a textbox of a form.

Can someone help please? I really need it and I get lost trying to convert the code for a windows app.

    Thanks so much in advance!

  • You should start with SkeletonBasics-WPF (a sample in Toolkit v1.5.0) and adapt it to have the code from John's sample in that other post. Then you'll have a windows app with the functionality you want. Thanks, Rob Relyea | http://twitter.com/rrelyea Kinect for Windows team
