Integrating Windows 2016 server, WordPres and dot net core RRS feed

I need to run WordPress alongside my dot net core 2.2 application, and my first attempt is to use Windows Server 2016.

So, I have a new VM on Azure that has windows 2016 server and IIS is setup to run wordpress.  (Which it does)

Can I setup a subdomain or something to run my .Core 2.2 application along side it?

Something like "www.mysite.com" for the wordpress site and "myapp.mysite.com" for the application.

thanks, I need to divide up the CMS from the rest of my site.

I could just try it, but I am asking because if it doesn't work, I wouldn't know if I configured it incorrectly, or it really doesn't work.  Also, it would be a loss of quite a several hours time.

Yes,you can.You could add several websites on IIS and could edit the site bindings to set the subdomain.

    Best Regards,
