Hardware setup for cross platform RRS feed

We are developing a cross platform (Android/iOS) Forms app and are experiencing problems that seem to be related to development setup, I would like some comments/advice from anyone else using a comparable setup All: Forms 1.5.1..., VS 2015, TFS config 1: Windows 8.1, Macpro hosted build host. No problems (slow Mac build though) - same machine using Xamarin Studio: Android version does not compile because of a Mono bug (according to bugzilla resolved in next version) - Xamarin Studio on the Mac build host and a SMB share to Windows: slow but no problem

config 2: Windows 10, VMWare fusion, MacBook pro, SMB shared drive, TFS - Xamlctask errors all over the place using VS2015 (IntermediateOutputPath getting stuffed with garbage like 'c:\d:\' which is not a valid output path). - Xamarin studio not tested yet but given the result with config 1 (and as a VS2015 user) not really an option

All in all 4 developers and just 1 having a somewhat reliable experience, must something we do otherwise I would have expected more posts like this.

Any hints/comments etc. would be appreciated regards
