Microsoft CDNs are getting rejected by Google and Firefox due to untrusted Symantec certs RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have tried these two sites today:

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt762875.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/d51ttbhx%28v=vs.85%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

The pages do not load their CSS or JS, only the HTML.

    Both are getting these errors:

The SSL certificate used to load resources from https://i-msdn.sec.s-msft.com will be distrusted in M70. Once distrusted, users will be prevented from loading these resources. See https://g.co/chrome/symantecpkicerts for more information.

The SSL certificate used to load resources from https://i2-msdn.sec.s-msft.com will be distrusted in M70. Once distrusted, users will be prevented from loading these resources. See https://g.co/chrome/symantecpkicerts for more information.

    Along with a bunch of:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 503 (Service Unavailable)

Someone needs to get on this ASAP!

  • Chrome 65 is the current stable release so that's not a problem yet.

503 (Service Unavailable) is a problem. It's difficult to upvote your post when the JavaScript doesn't load. :)
