  • Which version of Visual Studio? Do you have a valid Visual Studio license that matches the version you have installed?

  • Hello lywillc

Brian said the most important stuff regarding the product key. You shpould also check if you really do not have any typos in your key. And it is also important the version of your installed product and the product key really matches.

I.e. you can not use a Visual Studio 2012 Professional Key with the Ultimate version, also a Visual Studio 2010 Professional Key does not work for Visual Studio 2012 Professional.

    Best regards
