Merging Web Config Files

Hello,

I'm currently on a project and we have 1 file for every environment. I am looking to create a config for each environment and have one main Web config. Is there anyway at build time to merge the environment specific setting back into the main config?

For late comers to this question, it might be worth noting the built-in capabilities of Visual Studio 2012 to perform transformations on a web.config file using deployment-environment specific files to transform the main file.
