  • Hi,

    On one of my production Server today i started receiving below mentioned error in my errorlog and due to which i was unable to fire any query on SQL Server. I have checked Hardware logs in Dell open manager and no error is found.

    I check sql log folder and i received mdmp file along with log file and sqldumper, Kindly find the link with all the files uploaded and shared. Actions i took is rebooted windows server after which it is running fine now. But i have to prepare RCA for the same. Please help me for this production Server. Revert me in case of any queries or any more information required.

    Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.4053.00 (X64)   May 26 2009 14:13:01   Copyright (c) 1988-2005 Microsoft Corporation  Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2) .

    Buddy,

    You are running SQL server 2005 SP3  which is wayyy old and not supported any more.Immediately apply SP4 .You can download it from below link

    Regarding dumps getting generated ,best answer why it is happening will be provided by Micrsoft SQL server team and for that you need to open case an shed some bucks.They will also ask you to apply this SP.So please apply this SP and see if the problem subsides
