Framework folder not availalbe inside Microsoft.NET folder RRS feed

  • Hi,

           I have installed .Net Framework 4 in my machine, but i could not able to see "Framework" folder inside "Microsft.NET" folder, is that something "Framework" folder will be created only when i install VisualStudio ?

  • Please provide the full path you are looking at. There are more than one Microsoft.NET folders on a typical system.

    I find my Framework folder here (Win 7/8):

    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET

    If you fail to find it there, but you think you have at least one version of the .NET Framework installed, verify the installation with this tool:

    Run the tool with 4.0 selected, then post the first 15 lines AND last 15 lines of the tool log here.

    BTW, what is your Windows version?
