Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel RRS feed

  • Question

  • I currently have Office 365 and Visual 2019 Studio Community installed and attempting to write a c# program to utilize Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel to accommodate interfacing with Excel workbooks. I am having a problem with finding a reference to resizing a table within an Excel worksheet. The only reference that I can find is related to Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel that addresses resizing. I am unable to find a package that has Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel available.

It appears that Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel is not available with Office 365. May have been rendered obsolete. Is there any way to access Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel or some other way to accommodate code to support resizing tables?

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • You should have the DLL files in the path below, for web using the graph here.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\Shared\Visual Studio Tools for Office\PIA.

Sorry, I don't have a recommendation on resizing tables as I use third party libraries for working with Excel.

I'm moving your question to the Excel for developers forum, they may be able to assist.
