• Hello Guys,

    Please clarify my question!

Assume we have Host-A on SSMS (DB Engine) components and Host-B (SSIS) Integration components. So to run SSIS outside of the development environments we need licensing for SSIS server.

Also the application services will run on Host- C

Assume according to the license we assume CAL –User1(HostA) and CAL-User2(HostB) total 2 licenses required to configure the environment!

My question is how SSIS(Host-B) license works when it’s a standalone deployment to the Host A server?

Do we need any licensing(CAL – User Licence) required to access from Host B to Host A?

Do we require any Device License(CAL) in order to communicate between two hosts? If so why?

Please clarify and suggest me suitable links and comments on this!
