Hall Punchin RRS feed

  • Question

  • I try to implement classic Hall Punching in a p2p environment.

Every peer communicates to a central node (connected directly to the Internet) and than uses the same public address and public port in order to perform the hall punching.

I expect my router to preserve the same public port, used by any peer when it communicates to the  central node, also when it communicates to the other peer, but it doesn't(its a new EDIMAX router). Needeless to say that the private port is always the same in the peers.

    Can someone advise please?
