File transfer txt file to windows mobile 6 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I've a project with windows mobile 6.5 device and I want to send a text file to device, my system is 64 bit windows 7.

    I've denied this on test project and I get error: "Can't find PInvoke DLL 'rapi.dll'."

    I've register rapi.dll.

    What I can do,please help me.

  • Judging by the error this is a device application, not desktop as it should be.

    Desktop would produce the following message :

    Unable to load DLL 'dllnamehere.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

    I would suggest checking the project type.

    No, using RAPI2.dll probably would not help.

  • In order to use RAPI you need to install WMDC. Please make sure you have it installed.

  • Just a guess: are you getting this error on the device? 

    If so that is expected and would not work. RAPI is a desktop only API which allows accessing device from the desktop only.

    I just deploy project and get this error on the desktop project.

    I want to copy file from pc to device.

    Do you think, I can do this via RAPI2.dll instead of rapi.dll.

  • Yes, You're right my project type is device application.I've changed type of application.

    I've solved the problem and send txt file to device.
