  • I got it working by extracting the Flash Lite Dlls: flashLite_wince.dll flashmdd.dll flashpart.dll flashsnddec_wince.dll flashviddec_on2_wince.dll flashviddec_sorenson_wince.dll flax_resources_wince.dll flaxplayer_wince.dll and by extracting the ie.reg file which contained the reg entries for ie and the flash plugin from the windows ce 6.0 R3 .iso image. The Flash entries contain the following: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID] @="" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\{EC5B7C25-899A-479F-B5A8-CA2D2FC74931}] @="FlaxPlayer_wince" • Hi
I see some one has found a solution to the problem I have also been looking at for a short time..
Do you think that the flash lite plugin will be available as a seperate install in the near future and would the above work with WIN CE 5.0's IE as I think they are the same as far as i have been able to find out..?

please Darrell W could you send me a little more info on the steps you took to do the above...?

Sorry for posting here could not find same topic at the link that was provided above the above..

  • Sorry for posting in the wrong forum.... Wanted to get ahold of Darrell W.

What is required to use the Adobe Flash Lite support built into Windows CE 6.0 R3 to
play a .swf file?  I've tried creating an html file with a link to the swf but it will not play.
The same file will play on a older R2 release of CE with a stand alone player.  Since
the Adobe Flash Lite support was added the stand alone player is no longer included.

Is there an open source player which uses the Windows CE 6.0 R3 support to complete
what is needed to play .swf files?

    Thanks,

    Chuck

  • Hi Everyone,

I am facing the same problem as well.  Although, it looks like most of you are far more computer savvy than I am.  I would appreciate any guidance or instruction that will help me load the flash player on to the Windows CE 6.0 netbook that I purchased for my son.

    Thanks,

    Judy
