    If you need to run IIS SEO through a Proxy and it is not detecting the configuration automatically you can specify it by:

    1) Create a new file %windir%\system32\inetsrv\inetmgr.exe.config

    2) Add the following contents replacing your proxy information:

    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' ?><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p><configuration><o:p></o:p>  <system.net><o:p></o:p>    <defaultProxy useDefaultCredentials="true"><o:p></o:p>      <proxy proxyaddress="http://yourProxy:80/" usesystemdefault="false" /><o:p></o:p>    </defaultProxy><o:p></o:p>  </system.net><o:p></o:p></configuration><o:p></o:p>
