  • When i was about to extract the contents of ProMRDS-30-Jul-2008.exe a message appeared if i want to continue overwriting the folllowing files: bin/dsshost.exe and bin/dsshost.exe.config

    it said:

Do you want to continue this deployment?

  • The version of DssDeploy that shipped with the July CTP inadvertently included DssHost regardless of what command-line qualifiers you specified. This has been fixed for the final version.

In this case it should not do any harm to overwrite these files because they came from the July CTP. However, if you are not happy about this then copy the files before installing the software and copy them back again later. There are no dependencies in the code that will be affected.
