Visual Studio Reportin Services 2005 (SSRS) vs Oracle 11g RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

Our company upgraded the oracle database to 11g and since then we've been experiencing some problems with our visual studio 2005 reporting services in the designing mode. When I click the "data" option I inmediately get error messages like

"Error in WHERE clause near '('.
    Unable to parse query text."

This occurs in the Sql Syntax Window.

Before we upgraded the servers everything was fine. I've updated the oracle client on the local machine. Also the service pack has been installed.

Any ideas what might be the problem?

    Thnx.

  • Hi, We too are facing a similar issue. We recently migrated from Oracle 9i to 11g.The report in SSRS 2008 are giving the same error.I have noticed that the keywords like cast, dual, level get immediately replaced with "CAST","dual","level".These words get automatically quoted. Have you found a soultion to this yet?? Thanks
