Specify ReportBuilder credentials

Question

By default ReportBuilder uses logged-in windows user when connecting to SSRS server. Is there a way to specify and pass custom credentials for this connection?

Hello,

Not directly. If you have installed Report Builder local, then you can start the exe with right-mouse click => "Run as different user" (depends on you OS Version).

Thanks, but when running it in Windows 7 the only option I see is "Run as administrator". Are there any alternatives?

Hi Trekstuff,

If you want to run as a different user in Windows 7, please hold "Shift" and right click on the application, you will see "run as a different user" in the menu. See the link below:
