Unable to open Visual Studio 2010 solutions in Expression Blend 3 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am unable to open Visual Studio 2010 solutions in Expression Blend 3. Is there a patch or upgrade for this coming any time soon... or am I forced to use Visual Studio 2008?

  • Blend 4 targets Visual Studio 2010.  Blend 3 only targets Visual Studio 2008.

You can find the RC of Blend 4 here:

Will Blend 4 be available on MSDN Subscriber Downloads when it is RTM'd?

  • Pricing/inclusion in MSDN if should be announced when we RTM.  I'm afraid that even if I did know for certain what the plan is, I wouldn't be at liberty to say.

Thanks. If they are open to feedback, mine would be that it is too Microsoft's benefit to encourage developers to build with WPF/Silverlight and that Blend 4, like Blend 3, should be included in MSDN subscriber downloads.
