  • Hi,

    upload the logo to a picture or document library of your SharePoint and copy the url to the file

    • Site Action
    • Look and Feel
    • Title, Description and Icon
    • under Logo URL copy the link to your logo and hit OK.

    This will place your LOGO on the left side where normally the orange logo of SharePoint is.

    The other thing you can do is to customize the Master Page and the URL on the SharePoint Server Control

    <SharePoint:SiteLogoImage name="onetidHeadbnnr0" id="onetidHeadbnnr2" LogoImageUrl="/_layouts/images/siteIcon.png" runat="server"/>

    using SharePoint Designer.

    Kind regards
    Stefan

  • Hi,

    Don't forget to turn of caps lock please.

    There are two ways to do this. Change the site settings or create a new Master Page.

    Site settings

    Upload a logo to a picture library and copy the URL after it has been uploaded.

    Now you can go to Site Settings, Site Actions and Title Description and Icon. Add the URL of the logo and press Ok. The downside of this is that you have to repeat this action for every new site you create so I always create a new master page.

    First see if you like the first option :)

  • Click on Site Actions from the top left of the site and select Site Settings:

    Click “Title, description, and icon” under the Look and Feel section on the Site Settings page:

    Enter your logo URL location and a description – you can even click to test the URL to see if the address works:

    **NOTE** If you added the image to the “14 hive” on the file system, then the URL location would be “/_layouts/images/yourlogo.gif” (without quotes).

    Click Ok and you will be taken back to the Site Settings page where you should now see your logo displayed in the top of the site!
