  • Question

  • Hi, I'd like to install it, <g class="gr_ gr_22 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="22" id="22">however</g> failed again and <g class="gr_ gr_20 gr-alert gr_spell gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="20" id="20">agian</g>.

    Already updated, and could install VS2015 enterprise preview 5, <g class="gr_ gr_7 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Punctuation multiReplace" data-gr-id="7" id="7">however</g> could not for community ed.

I tried several versions, such as

ko_visual_studio_community_2015_with_update_3_x86_x64_web_installer_8922974, which shows cannot download resources

vs_community__47515b2bb523ea4cb5c756fc696fd6b6, which I cannot execute because of job failed error.

Thank for your help in advance.

  • Hi kexd,

    Welcome to MSDN forum.

To analysis the detail error information about this failed installation, I need your help to the installation log. Please use http://aka.ms/vscollect to gather the installation logs. After using it, you will find vslogs.zip under %temp% folder. Please upload the file to https://onedrive.live.com/ and share the link here.

Have you uploaded the screenshots of the error?

I couldn’t check it, if you are not allowed to attach the pictures, you need to ask for a requirement in the following thread to verify your account:

    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/338e5c21-c7e3-4519-8791-f819535be481/verify-your-account-36?forum=reportabug

According to your description, firstly please make sure that you have a stable network connection. You could try to download the ISO file of visual studio community 2015 with update 3 from here, which could avoid the problem of a stable network connection.

To verify the integrity of the ISO file, please use the FCIV.exe tool to check the SHA1 value of the ISO, the expected value comes from here, any discrepancy means the ISO is corrupted.

Meanwhile, please make sure you already followed the installation tips as below:

    1. Disable any anti-virus
    2. Clean up the %temp% folder
    3. Run the installer as administrator

    Best regards,

    Joyce
