"Kinect for windows setup failed" while install kinect sdk1.6 RRS feed

  • I've uninstalled all other drivers for kinect!

    and here is the error log:

  • Please reboot the machine to ensure there are no other pending installations with pending actions

    Rerun the setup by right click and run as administrator or change the properties to run as admin

  • are you installing as an admin on the machine? 0x80070005 is usually due to a permission issue

  • forgive my poor english, i cannot quite understand what you mean by "ensure there are no other pending installations with pending actions"

    by the way, i rebooted, closed all security softwares, cleaned out all pendingfile in regedit, it still doesn't work
