Submission status "We haven't finished verifying your identity" RRS feed

  • My app submission has had this status error "We haven't finished verifying your identity. After we verify your identity, we'll start certifying your app" for 3 days now.

    The bank, tax and Symantec verification are complete, is there something else I need to do to get passed this?

  • Problem was Symantec GeoTrust, when that was resolved red status in dashboard was removed in minutes. So if you have this problem talk to the symantec support, you will need Order number.

  • I contacted MS support and got answer that Synmantec Geotrust validation is not approved, then contacted Symantec and got answer that their system is down and they can not see my account info, maybe that is the reason for this error. Symantec representative said that system will be up in about an hour, so let's hope that then this error will be resolved.

    I saved the URL for my symantec verification (did it 3 days ago) and can see the verification has been completed, its a pity there isn't a 'resend' verification button somewhere as part of the account setup.

    Will be interesting to see if it is a Symantec issue or just the 'we are overloaded' with app submissions....

  • I guess , you  Account /Payment is not verified ,  check in Dashboard->Subscriptions , if  Its not Verified  , Verify it.  ( it will  take around  1-2 day to verify.)     Hi,

    How do we go about contacting them? And shouldnt this be handled by Microsoft themself, I mean why would we as their partners/users have to go to Symantec...

    Anyway, if thats the last resort the can someone please share the contact details of Symantec GeoTrust ?

  • Hi Antonio,

    You were right, GeoTrust was the problem, I got the confirmation email from them on Saturday and my app moved back into processing again.
